COVID19 Statement - 8 June 2020

The health and safety of our clients, staff and horses are at the centre of everything we do and a Covid19 risk assessment has been carried out.  We will continually assess the situation in line with the Welsh Government and BHS guidelines.

We are now open for riding lessons and hacks.  All bookings can be made by contacting Sian on 07971 753051.  

In order to help clients we have created a short video which clearly explains what riders need to be proficient in in order for us to operate our phase 1 opening. Please watch the video before calling to book.

Learn to ride or improve your riding

Llannerch Equestrian Centre is a Pony Club Approved Riding Centre offering riding lessons on well schooled horses and ponies by a qualified coach whose aim is to help clients improve their riding technique.  Each lesson is tailored to the needs of the rider to make sure that they get the best out of their time in the saddle.
Whether a beginner or a more experienced rider a range of private or group lessons are available in the large indoor school or outdoor school, both have floodlights.  
Able bodied and disabled riders are catered for with a wide range of horses and ponies available for riders up to 12 stone.  Riders between 12 and 14 stone please get in touch to see if a suitable horse is available.  All riders must be aged 7 years +.
Lessons are available by appointment Monday to Sunday. 
 

Cost of lessons

  • Private lesson (1 or 2 riders) 30 minutes £25.00 pp *
  • Private lesson 45 minutes £33.00 pp *
  • Private lesson 60 minutes £40.00 pp *
  • Semi private lesson (2 riders) 45 minutes £30.00 pp *
  • Semi private lesson (2 riders) 60 minutes £35.00 pp *
  * W/E subject to availability
  • Group lesson (3 riders) 45 minutes £25.00 pp
  • Group lesson (4 or more riders) 60 minutes £25.00 pp
  • Pony Day 10am - 4pm £40.00 pp
     

Hacking

Hacks are priced at the same tariff as stated but an Assessment Lesson is required before hacking at the centre for the first time.  
 
Your safety and the safety of our team and horses is of paramount importance and if we think you can safely enjoying hacking with us after your initial assessment you are welcome to book a hack for another day.

Have lessons on your own horse

Private or group lessons on your own horse either on the flat or jumping.

Each year clients can attend the 3 day Llannerch Young Equestrians camp or the 2 day camp for riders 25+.  These are extremely popular events with the emphasis on fun learning with both ridden and practical horse-care sessions.

Clients keeping their horse or pony on livery are also welcome to have their own coach teach them on site.

 

There is an indoor and outdoor school for hire.
 

Train at Lannerch

Training towards BHS level 1, 2 and 3 exams as well as Road Safety and Horsecare exams.
